Public Awareness Campaigns
Roots of Hope Meadow Lake puts particular emphasis on the pillar of public and community awareness. This includes locally-driven campaigns to promote mental health awareness (posters, brochures, social media etc.) and collaboration with the media. Our Public Awareness campaigns are derived from focus groups, situation analyses and community input.

- Having Safer Conversations on Social Media: The way we talk about suicide online matters. This resource details how we can have safer conversations on social media about suicide, including questions to ask before you post, how to best share thoughts, feelings and experiences, and things to avoid.
- Talking to Children About Suicide: A conversation tool to help caregivers, parents, and guardians understand how to speak with children in their lives suicide when a suicide happens in the community or if someone they know has died by suicide.
